Troldtekt
Rokkedahl Energy and Nordic Green Solutions have joined forces on an energy project that aims to help Troldtekt utilise the large amount of surplus heat generated in their production.
As a pilot project, a heat exchanger from Rokkedahl Energi has been installed on part of Troldtekt’s drying line. Energy consumption has been reduced by 30% in this part of the dryer.
In addition to the financial benefits for Troldtekt, who can save energy, there is an environmental benefit in the form of surplus heat recycling.

Troldtekt
Rokkedahl Energy and Nordic Green Solutions have joined forces on an energy project that aims to help Troldtekt utilise the large amount of surplus heat generated in their production.
As a pilot project, a heat exchanger from Rokkedahl Energi has been installed on part of Troldtekt’s drying line. Energy consumption has been reduced by 30% in this part of the dryer.
In addition to the financial benefits for Troldtekt, who can save energy, there is an environmental benefit in the form of surplus heat recycling.
Troldtekt’s production
Troldtekt is a Danish supplier of acoustic panels with an intense focus on sustainability. Among other things, the company works on optimising resource consumption.
The drying process is a central part of Troldtekt’s production of acoustic panels, and the drying plant emits significant amounts of surplus heat. Following energy advice from Nordic Green Solutions, Rokkedahl Energi installed a heat exchanger on the drying line to reuse this surplus heat.
With an energy saving of 30% on the part of the drying line where the heat exchanger is installed, the pilot project with a single heat exchanger shows potential for Troldtekt to save even more energy in the drying process.
